“Chai” is not a Tea. “chai” is actually just the word for tea in Hindi. Its widely known as “Masala chai,” another common term, means “spiced tea” in Hindi. “chai tea” is still used loosly to refer to sweet, fragrant concoction of black tea, milk, herbs and with/without spices originated in India. Tea preparation is an art and taste can be similar but never same. Its on the similar to an artist and an artist never makes a replica of his creation.

Not only does chai tea taste good, but it’s also really good for you! Chai is full of ingredients with beneficial properties, including black tea, ginger, cinnamon, tulsi, cloves, cardamom, turmeric and more. While the specific spices used in chai tea may vary, these ingredients are some common spices that are typically included in chai blends.

Each of the ingredients add benefits to tea.
